Since many froggers are travellers, maybe it is usefull to ad a 'travellers' part to the forum.
As I am already filling up this topic with pictures that are not related to frogs, but I think every animal/nature lover would love to see...I just keep adding.

First, a trip to the cost of Suriname I made in search of seaturtles laying eggs. Very dark and pretty dangerous(in vast costal jungle areas, the nesting grounds attract all sorts of predators such as jaguars..we actually found some marks of them such as eaten turtles and footprints) but amazingly moving and beautiful:

This one is from 2008 when I was visiting Costa Rica for 3weeks...Mostly in search of snakes from the Bothrops and Bothriechis genera. I did find some O. Pumilio but I'll have to search for some pictures if you would love to see them(they didn't actually come out very nice). Amazing country, lovely vibe and stunningly beautiful!

In 2006, after graduating from highschool I made the decided to do some voluntary work. I knocked on AFS(American Field Service) it's door and was send to Panama for 2months. There I lived and worked with the native/Indian people of Ukupseni or in Spanish Playon Chico. A small Island in the Kuna Yala/San Blas district. It's about a one or two hour flight from Panama City and is surounded by wonderful jungle areas.

In the pictures you will see some of the work I did, and the house I lived in. I did actually find some Dendrobates Auratus over there (I was very suprised) and even thow I was in the middle of Kuna Yala (actually pretty close to Colombia) they didn't look like the Auratus 'Kuna Yala' that we know in the hobby...

All my picture(which aren't very good...at that time I didn't have the luxury of buying a reflex camera) reports where filled with comments and information...sadly enough, everything is in Dutch so I deleted it. But if anyone has a question about what you see or what I did, I will gladly answer you.

Dream. Explore. Discover.
