Daddy didn't deposit any tads into the PVC caps last night, so rather than being patient, I took matters into my own hands (with a piece of airline tubing) and siphoned out a tad from the only brom I could see into well enough to spot a tad.
It is now in solitary confinement. I know there is at least one more tad in the viv, and I may try to blindly siphon the other broms in an attempt to find it. If all goes well I should have 7 froglets (so far) in the coming months.
Congrats on the breeding......They don't seem to stop once they start....Looks like the tad has broke free of the egg just need to wiggle his way out now....I just got 5 more of my Orange lamasi/sirensis yesterday that's 17 in 2 months.....There are 2 tads in viv that I am leaving just to slow them down hopefully.
Just a quick update (no photos unfortunately)
The lamasi tad that was recorded in the video I posted, came out of the water yesterday and has had his first 48hrs on land. Great looking little guy. Still a little shy though, so pics will come in the next week or so.
Pardon my crappy iphone photo, but the little guy is still pretty camera shy.
Here is my first froglet EVER!!! The other 3 tads all have back legs now and are getting there.
