Agreed. I don't always like Rich's approach, but very rarely can I ever find fault with the points he makes and the info he gives. I know he says tact is for the weak but I've found that the nicer you are while still asking the hard questions and getting your points across, in the end if the other person turns out to be a jerk...well the nicer you were, the more of a jerk they end up being

I'm going to chime in for a moment. I have read a lot of Rich's posts (more specifically his interrogations as some would label them). If you look at the manner in which he questions people, on the surface, it would most certainly come off as bullying, brash, arrogant, pick your word of choice. He most certainly is direct, he doesn't beat around the bush and is typically a bit in your face BUT he gets answers. More importantly he tends to have a pretty good read on people, like it or not. His method of questioning, while appearing on the surface to be unwarranted personal attacks, in reality and in most cases are little logic tracks that tend to paint people in to a corner, a corner you can only get painted in to if your lying, hiding something or are talking out your arse (I don't know Josh, and I'm not calling him a liar or insinuating he's done anything wrong at this point ... the $1,200 galact pair was interesting however). From what I've seen (past topics) Rich is generally holding information, and rather then just spilling it and allowing someone to cover their tracks, he will "do what he does" and "set the stage" so to speak prior to providing all the information. This method, in the end, tends to legitimize the information much more then had he pussy footed around it and handled it in a more conventional fashion. It only took me reading the title to assume Rich believes he has something and a couple pages of reading this thread to realize Rich has more information then he's sharing with us to this point, we'll all just have to wait to see what it is, but I'm certain there's more to this story. Time will tell whether it's ultimately justified or not.

Dude thats kinda a low blow. Anyone can get ripped off, that doesn't mean that he isn't usually right about people. Some of your points may be valid but your coming at him at least as hard as he comes at people so maybe there is a little hypocrisy there? I kinda made a splash with my debut on this board too, coming to rant about DB...which wasn't in the best of taste. So at the risk of some hypocrisy on my own part but also as a person who has kinda been there let me suggest making your debut with an attack on a member many respect and appreciate isn't in the best of taste either. Having said all that, WELCOME!

It is when you talk to others when you have no prior dealings with or they don't even know who you are and one comes out like a mad man, making accusations and being totally ridiculous. Btw I thought things about him were a little off as well, but I would have went about it a completely different way to find answers and probably would have gotten the same result Rich will.
