What is the background made out of? Is that premade or did you construct yourself with grout?? I like it

shaped styrofoam with grout, dry brushed for colour, and covered in an acrylic sealer...the back is super ugly though

I think it's a really interesting idea! If I did it though, I would make the division look like a natural barrier i.e. rocks, vines, wood etc. so that it wasn't just a pane of glass dividing the enclosure. I like to make things look as natural as possible and remove as much man-made-touch from the display portion as I can. You could still use glass and just decorate overtop of it, even leave an opening in the center of glass so that you can still see between the two - kind of like a porthole!
