Not sure how much of my care was a part of this. I hand mist every day, maintain good springtail count, dusted FFs for parents (although Male is picky and will go weeks ignoring FFs). I also try to keep my Pum viv higher temp at top (80-81F) although that is hard to do w winter as I also have a bigger vent to let it dry out to best mimic the changes typical of a tropical islet. I can tell you I lost several eggs and tads along the way that I was aware of, but I also believe there are tads in the other broms that have or could morph any day/week. I have seen the Mom and her routine going "in and out" of certain axial on a regular basis.

Hope you are able to see some progress w your pums very soon.

best
Scott

Oh, one other big thing I do different from what I used to do is keep the light on a shorter time and only using one bulb. Some days during summer, I never turned on the light. All they would have is north light from a window. Lower lighting was advice I received from Rich Frye and I believe it helps.

Cheers for the info. I've reduced the light about a month ago because the male was even more shy than usual with bright lights.

I'll try the drying out as well.

Cheers

A.

CUTE or what!

As the temp has begun to drop I 've resigned myself to next year for most of mine to get frisky.
It'll be a battle to keep the frog room to a decent temp.

Good luck with them.

same thing happen to me with my pums and the mom stopped feeding the tad and the tad died with back and front legs out. It was very small compared to all the other tads....
