Default Pum tad in dying brom

Hi
Got a Cristobal tad w color and hind legs in a brom that is on the verge of falling apart and covered w scale. I have 2 black film cans w tads and the female is dropping eggs. Should I take the risk of moving the old tad into one of the film can w a small new tad since I know the female is expecting to feed those or take the chance that the leaf holding the old tad will holdout for another few weeks?

after this I am tempted to move away from broms....

thanks for any advice

If it was me I would leave it alone, if you move it there is a chance the female may not feed it.
Do you have a picture of the brom?

Same as Beth suggests - leave it in the brom axil. You'll be amazed at how long 'dead' broms will last before collapsing completely

Regards

Thanks ya'll. Good news is the little guy popped his front legs and is now absorbing his tail - so the easy part is over... preparing for this mini-springtail eating machine to ravage the viv .... and any others that are near ready that I don't know about.
