Question: Our Varadero have laid probably 7-12 eggs and not one of them have been viable. They are new to breeding and James (Azurel) said his eggs were viable from the first clutch. This however I understand does no way mean ours will be the same way. I am sitting on 3 eggs now and observing them multiple times a day. They are on moss and kept moist either from our mistking system or by myself with distilled water in a hand mister. 2 of the 3 are still bright white while one has taken on a grayish/brown color on half of it. Which is probably due to the clay they were laid on.
My recent thoughts were maybe the supplements? They are not refrigerated and are getting close to a year old. Should I replace these? they are the herpti-vite and repcal. I dust with every feeding and swap them every other feeding. Now, our Azureus are pigs and eat flies no matter what, But the imi's are not beggers and eat at their leisure. I am sure some of the dustings remain on the flies over certain periods of time, but yesterday was a feed day and today there are still flies roaming the tank. Quite a few actually. The frogs are courting again and I imagine they will lay more eggs here in the next couple days given their recent patterns.
What are some measures I can take to perhaps get some viable eggs? I know time and patience is always key and to just let them "do their thing" But I would like to do everything I can to help ease the transition from bad eggs to good eggs.
Please give me your input!

IF your supplements are that old I would replace them most suggest from what I have read every 6 months.....I have used Repashy from the start of the hobby and have had great luck(as far as I can tell-healthy frogs). I do refrigerate mine, I know quite a few people add those silicone packs to help keep moisture out so it does not clump but I have not had an issue with that since the supplements are only out of the fridge maybe 30 sec at most. I use this rotation combo and dusting cycle now that was told to me by some well respected hobbyist.
Repashy ICB- 3-4x times a week
Superpig -2x times a week
VitA- 1-2x a month
I also toss in the rotation some Dendrocare as well.....All of my R. imitator 'Varadero' eggs were white and stayed white through development as the tads developed an approached being fully formed they would start to get a little bit of color mostly a gray-brown color. Of the few eggs in clutches that were bad the ones that turned a color other then white never developed and began to mold or were just simple a bad egg.
You are right though just because mine seemed to get it right from the start does not mean yours will or would. It sounds like the female is laying bad eggs and vitamin A supposedly helps with that....But in all honesty I would get new supplements first and foremost and start from there.....
On a side note your frogs were fed on Repashy suppliments from the start up till I shipped them. I know there have been a few times atleast when I first fed out the dendrocare to my frogs they seemed to spit them back out. Not sure if it was because of a differant taste they were not used to or not. But I am sure the Repashy has to taste better cause it sure does smell better the the Rep-cal.
lol. they dont seem to mind the rep-cal or vites. ive witnessed them choke down completely dusted flies before. so we'll see. I just ordered new supps and if that does not show some sort of improvement i'll order the repashy. I was going to order that last night, but had no clue what kind to get.
So, Another 5 eggs were laid in the new viv. One shows signs that I have not seen before. Laid deep in a brom egg. all are solid white except for this one. It now has a tiny dot in it that is almost a silver color. What can be said about this?
