Default New to Forum and Darts

Hello,

My name is Andy. I am new to the Frog world but have many reptiles, feeder roaches, 3 tarantulas, and a couple cats.

I received my Azureus from a craigslist ad for FREE!! and don't know much of his/her history except it was bought at joshsfrogs.com.

He came in a 10 gallon aquarium with well started plants , moss on a large log, gravel, small pond with pump, lid, and lamp.He also came with all the stuff needed for fruit fly cultures, so i started 3 total all with 50 in each container.

I cant wait to learn more as i have been reading through this forum up and down and i know i will be addicted very soon here are a few pics, they are rather low quality since i am using my phone.

WOAH!!!!
drain the water!!!! these are not aquatic or even semi aquatic frogs and there is entirely too much water in there. leaving it as it is is going to cause undue stress for the animal and may be a death wish.
leave only 1" of water in the bottom of the tank!

and i cant believe that beth didnt say something before i did.

thanks again guys for the warm welcomes ... i have a little over 1 inch of water now he is happy. I'm planing on making a much larger "viv" I just received him for free from craigslist like 5 days ago . he eats rather well and highly active

so here is yet another question... the current lid i have is a screen top that i saran wrapped , i would like to replace the tank with a vertical from pet co since there only like 40 bucks but i will be making him a 29 gal with some custom work i have seen around the forum , what do you guys think of the verticals at pet co for a temp location for him im thinking a month or 2

Er, this may sound stupid, what is 'saran wrap'? Sounds like a nerve agent to me
