Female Visit Tree Walkers!
Default Hello, fellow froggers!

After a few days of lurking, I'm finally a member! I'm still a newbie to the wonderful world of PDFs, so feel free to give me any pointers. I only have 2 frogs right now, one Azureus and 1 Green and Bronze Auratus. I'm shopping for some Cobalts and another Azureus to add to my collection, but it will be awhile before I get either one. Enjoy some pics and have a Merry Christmas!

Hey Lucky,

Not so lucky this time. The first frog is not an Azureus. It looks like a hybrid to me. A cross between an Oyapok and a ???. Different species are supposed to be keep separately so crossbreeding doesn't occur. The two frogs that you have housed together will crossbreed again assuming the your hybrid isn't sterile. Where did you get them from?

Welcome aboard. Have a look around and I'm sure you will have some questions.

I was also thinking the azureus colour was strange. That frog she got Taron about a year ago. The green and bronze is from Vivarium concepts. I don't think they are in the same viv.
Not trying to answer for lucky, I just have insider info... sending ya a PM frog.

Thanks for pointing that out to me, I'd have never known.. Like I said, I'm very new to this. I got that frog earlier this year, and at this point the vendor is probably worthy of a "bad guy" BOI thread. No matter what he/she is I love it to death. As Casper said, they are not housed together, they are in separate vivs. Casper could probably tell you more about what happened with my experience with the vendor than I could. They took advantage of me not knowing any better.

I'm glad to hear they're in separate vivs. It sounds like you're in very good hands now. There's nothing like having someone to lean on when getting started out.

Man, how many froggers are in TX now? Party at Caspers place when I come down. I'll bring the beer. Real beer!

Yes, Casper has been amazing... I've been pestering him nonstop for the past week lol. I'm picking up a trio from him tonight ^_^ THEN I will have an Azureus lol. There's quite a few froggers down here, from what I understand!

I an here to offer help advice as well, you can feel to PM me with any questions.

Welcome to DartFrogz!

Glad you purchased your new frogs from Cindy, she has great quality frogs and even gives a care sheet with every purchase. She will answer any questions you have as well.

Taron is a shame to the hobby, hopefully the hobby will push him out of business soon.

There is , and has been for many years now. Multiple threads. He has a huge rep for scamming.
