Hi Beth,

in my (humble) opinion the provision of meadow plankton is a vital part of dart husbandry - just as important as regular exposure to UVb - what I'm trying to do is, in a very small way, is recreate something of an 'in vitro' ecosystem for the frogs - providing as much as possible (or similar) that would be available in their natural habitat.

So I had decided to develop a 'beginners guide to Meadow Plankton' for my website - what equipment to use, best habitats, what to collect and what not to collect etc. As the season is just about finished here I'll write it up over the winter and add photos as and when.
Once I've finished it I'll add a shorter summary here.

Regards
Graham
