i put about 40 ish ff in a container with a bit of powder (calc or vit) shake a bit . problem is i get calc ot vit in my viv. it appears my moss hates calcium. I tried to just leave the bottle in there , but the ff all stayed at the bottom (i guess the powder kept them from climbing)

If you have left over dust in the cup you're using too much. They don't need to look like lil snowmen. lol

What brand do use use, Ed?

I use a fine mesh strainer to sift the ffy's and calcium.
Still some dust but not a pile of it.
Glen are you sure there is no ffy snowmen in Canada?

I would just back off on the dust until you don't see left overs in the cup.
